Proof of vaccination and a negative fecal report is required on sign up night. No dogs are allowed in class with flea or tick infestation.

Dogs showing aggression in class (within reason) will be refunded their fee and be referred to an Animal Behaviorist. Wolf hybrids are not accepted in any class.

Dogs must be on lead at all times, indoors or out, unless permitted by the Trainer. It is recommended that a 6-foot leather leash be used and flat buckle collars. Retractable leads are not allowed in the building! Dogs will be brought into the building on a very short lead, so as not to interact with other dogs, and be placed within their crate immediately. Chain link or prong collars are not permitted for training; only flat buckle or martingale design.

Female dogs in season are NOT permitted in the building at any time. Speak with your instructor if your dog comes into season during a class. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their own dog. There is a graveled, fenced area for use with clean up bags/tools. It is advised to carry a flashlight with you if you will be relieving your dog on the grounds after dark. If your dog relieves itself during class, you are expected to clean it up & dispose of the contents in the trash can within the small exercise area.

Smoking is prohibited on MCKC Grounds.

If classes need to be cancelled due to bad weather, listen to local radio or television channels for an announcement. In the event that your class is cancelled, your class will be extended by 1 week.
